This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library.  Plant Biotechnology is a field  within biotechnology dealing chiefly in the introduction of foreign genes into economically important plant species, resulting in crop improvement and the production of novel products in plants (BioZone, BioResearch Ireland).
