Fighting Bacterial Infections

This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library. Infection is a microbial phenomenon characterized by an inflammatory response to the presence of microorganisms or the invasion of normally sterile host tissue by these organisms. With the increase of bacterial resistance to antibiotics, searching for effective preventive measures, new antimicrobial agents, and therapeutic approaches becomes important.
